Nelly
Hi peeps I recently bought a Netgear WGT 624 wireless router and wireless PC card. With these to fine articles of hardware I've managed to share my broadband connection between my notebook (via PC card) and desktop (via ethernet connection) so I'm now surfin' the net in my back garden freezing my nads of just because I can all good so far. I 've tried to network the two computers using the XP (home on both machines) network wizard and I can only access the desktops shared folders from the notebook and not the other way around. The notebook shows up in my network places under my workgroup but when I double click it to access it XP tells me it is not accessible, I may not have permission and access is denied.I have pinged both computers both ways by IP so I know they're talking to each other, all XP firewalls are off but I still can't access the notebook. Can anyone give me some suggestions I'm tearing my hair and to be honest I didn't have much to begin with. CoffeeFiend
We need a bit more information... I'll start by asking if you're using simple file sharing.PS: Perhaps a more descriptive title would be more appropriate next time too
