windows xp services and processes

Hey guys how are yah? well i just wanna know more about the services and processes in xp like msmsgs.exe, lsass.exe, svhost.exe, csrss.exe, smss.exe, CCAP.exe and the like...I mean what are these processes and can you help me explain the functions of these? :no: pls do send me an explanation guys even a site that explains all these ill be happy :lol: gee...thanks alot and email me if you want to help sakulati@lycos.com thanks very mucho....

Yep, but the man was talking about Windows processes not services..

msmsgs.exe, lsass.exe, svhost.exe, csrss.exe, smss.exe, CCAP.exe are windows processes ;)

All services are processes (or part there-of; I believe more than one service can 'reside' in a process), not all processes are services.

"lsass.exe, svhost.exe, csrss.exe, smss.exe" are services
