Unattended install Probs using winnt.sif

Recommended Posts

Hello again,

Sorry for the previous post newbie and all that!!!

My problem is that when I boot a machine up using the CD I created from the ISO that I made it does not use the winnt.sif for the unattended install, now I may have done somthing wrong but I have followed the guide twice over now and it does it the same every time, even if I completely remove the winnt.sif.

I'm just a little confused as to the process of creating the winnt.sif, I created the file as mentioned in my first post. used setupmgr to create the unattend.txt, renamed the file to winnt.sif and moved it into the i386 directory. I did notice it created another file called unattend.bat ?? do i need to do anything with this because if you edit this file it has references to the unattend.txt file, the guide does not mention this file.

If someone could just talk me through the proceses required to get this working it would be much appreciated

Thanks

Limey..

Delete it and don't pay attention to it.

It won't influence Unattended CD.
