Hi Annita

Hold the Alt key on the keyboard and use numeric keypad to enter 163, then release the Alt key. ú will be printed. I am not sure if this helps, if not, provide more information about your problem.

Regards

Raja

That's not the problem. I have the "ú" on the .cmd file.

The problem is that the cmd window does not insert "ú", it changes to "·". I would like to know how to put the "ú" in the .cmd so the cmd windows reads it correctly (sorry for my English).

Thnx,

Annita

here am i!

well the explanation it's that DOS text don't use the same characters as in windows so if you run a batch file written with notepad you'll see how some characters like: ñ ú ü û... don't look the same. to prevent it you have to write batch files directly from DOS.

open your command prompt and type "%WINDIR%\SYSTEM32\EDIT.COM" without quotes. here, write the sentences with non-english characters and save the file. when you edit that file you'll see the changes. after that little lesson:

"Menú Inicio"="Men£ Inicio"
