I replaced the UXTHEME.DL_ in the \i386

im burn the cd

After installation of Windows xp the bootscren is not changed

The logon is not changed

Why ?

i did exactly what you did. hehhehe I gave up a week ago trying to change the bootup screen.

UXTHEME.DL_ is not the bootup screen. Changing this file allow you to have a non-microsoft theme! You can find many on the web.

Also, you won't see any difference after changing this file. It just allows you to do something: it doesn't change any look and feel.

If you want to change the boot screen, the screen where it says "Windos XP" with a green (home) or blue (pro) bar scrolling from left to right, you'll need a custom kernel. Search the board for this.

If yes, then mp, if not, then the ntoskrnl.exe

You will have to change the files in the sp2.cab and the driver.cab in order to completely change the boot screen to your customized one. I have my my boot screen running without any oemkrnl.exe in the boot.ini
