powtrix Posted September 5, 2004 Author Posted September 5, 2004 i want Edit my PTB file, this ENG patch doesnt work on PTB.already read there before. but thx anyway
Alanoll Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 that's the ONLY website I've seen that would even come close. You're going to ahve to use some deductive reasoning and find the bytes and change them yourself based off that website.
midiboy Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 woaahh, thats strange ... I think everybody said that tcpip.sys is language independant ??If not, why would it work on a German system but not on a portuguese one ?powtrix: what symptoms do you get with the english version ?BYe,Alex
sleepnmojo Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 You could always provide a link to the file, and let someone take a look.
artbio Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 I also want to patch the tcpip.sys file, but on a Portuguese European Windows Xp Sp2.I will check if the patch from that page, works with my versions of XP.What if i patch the tcpip.sys file from the Unattended CD? Will it work? Thanks!
prathapml Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 I was lucky enough to have saved a page from that site which says which bytes to manually change. The attachment might help.NOTE: I don't know if this is only for english version of the TCPIP.SYS.4226fix_en_manual.htm
SiMoNsAyS Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 this is strange, my xp language version it's spanish but i use the tcpip.sys from that page and it works like charm......so i cab it and added to my unattended installation, works perfect too...
