troycicle
I've read a lot about hacked files for slipstreaming SP2 with xp. What's the point in having all these files? I slipstreamed SP2 with XP, and it worked just fine. The only thing I see is the uxtheme.dll for custom themes. Why do I need all these other files? After installing my slipstreamed copy, I installed edonkey2000, and it took me an extremely long time to connect. I found this linkhttp://forums.tech-arena.com/showthread.ph...51546#post51546Do I need the TCPIP.SYS hacked file to connect faster?I downloaded thishttp://cheater.freeprohost.com/MSFN/hacked_files.zipOn the page I'm on it says Download the reg patch to use in combination with termsrv.dllYou MUST APPLY THE REG PATCH!What do I do with the registry patch? CoffeeFiend
You can connect, even with the original tcpip.sys but it will slow you down a lot. If you read the threads (one is even a sticky iirc), it should explain it all nicely.
