1chaoticadult
What's up everybody. Does anyone know where Easy CD-DA Extractor 7 stores its registration info in the registry? Its not the same as the on on unattended.msfn.org. Thanks in advance.

1chaoticadult
I 've been using registry monitoring programs like regshot and regsnap but it does seem to show where Easy CD-DA Extractor. Oh well.
PaRaNoiD_JaCK
I`ve just used InstallRite on it now. I`ll go through what was changed when it was reg`d and see if anything turns up.

1chaoticadult
I figured out where Easy CD-DA Extractor 7 keeps its registration. Its an encrypted key but I will show where to look for it. Enjoy.[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{83774D43-4F0E-414C-F11B-A53AB6CB1466}]"ZsHqcOdc"="
--=ddSHADOW=--
no such reg file by my installation seems like the program makes random reg file inside[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\
1chaoticadult
@--=ddSHADOW=-- I don't understand why you wouldn't see this key. I've tested this in VMware and and two other computers and the same key came up. Oh well just search for this "ZsHqcOdc"=" in your registry then. piechdibi
Nope, it's not working for me either... I've checked regedit, and it's not the same key... I'm looking for it right now, i'll let you know
Jito463
@--=ddSHADOW=-- I don't understand why you wouldn't see this key. I've tested this in VMware and and two other computers and the same key came up. Oh well just search for this "ZsHqcOdc"=" in your registry then. It's possible you keep getting the same reg entry because you're using the same key. One possibility anyway. 1chaoticadult
I agree Jito463. Thats why its different. I mentioned earlier look for "ZsHqcOdc"=" in the registry. That should be the same.
piechdibi
Well... This is what I've done, and after intalling the soft on two different computers with the same key, the "ZsHqcOdc" part in the registry is different for each: i.e. the reg file can't work for any machine.. piechdibi
Ok... I think I've got it: Actually there are two keys to change :[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{7A15E3E2-B66C-EFED-0879-0B9B4FA9BAC7}]"ZsHqcOdc"="XXXXX"[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{7A15E3E2-B66C-EFED-0879-0B9B4FA9BAC7}]"ZsHqcOdc"="XXXXX"
CoffeeFiend
Hmm, this one's got me puzzled too. Both occurences of "ZsHqcOdc" in the key {1B6920E9-D710-2CE6-6905-C8902ED579CC} have the value "InterVideo MPEG4 Video Decoder Property Page" as (Default). Doesn't look right "ZsHqcOdc" contains the encoded data, but what does it have to do with WinDVD?I haven't tried it on another PC yet, I don't know if it would find them. I guess I'll have to try.
