It only takes a few lines of code, but to maximize the potential, it is best to integrate the hit-counter code into your website. I therefore strongly recommend that you learn PHP or another scripting language that is allowed on your website.If you are thinking of buying a hit-counter, please do not. It is going to be an absolute waste of money. Hotscripts.com is a great PHP resource if you don't want to take the time to learn PHP.Some of the best software on the Internet is free, by the way. sven Posted August 28, 2004 Share Posted August 28, 2004 gostats is a good hit counter, its just a little code that you put in, and they do the rest. browser info, referal, resolution, ect.if your using php, you can put a logger onto the page, if u need it, i can send it to you, it just doesn't count how many people, you'll have to add that in later....
