Skitso Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Hi anyone!I'm having problem with my Symantec AV Control for Exchange. The problem is that the "SMSECtrl.exe" is taking 90% of the CPU-Usage.The rest of the processes is left with 10%......way too little! The CPU is too long on 100% usage.Does anyone know if it is safe to set the priority of this process to a lower level?Using MS Server 2003, Xeon 3.06 Ghz, with 1 Gb Ram. Thanx!

Marsden Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Get rid of this Symantec AV Control for Exchange crap... You want to use programs that work and not screw your system to hell.
