SMSECtrl.exe 90% is using of CPU

Hi anyone!

I'm having problem with my Symantec AV Control for Exchange.

The problem is that the "SMSECtrl.exe" is taking 90% of the CPU-Usage.

The rest of the processes is left with 10%......way too little! The CPU is too long on 100% usage.

Does anyone know if it is safe to set the priority of this process to a lower level?

Using MS Server 2003, Xeon 3.06 Ghz, with 1 Gb Ram.

hi, norton has always hogged ram, i reccommend using nod32 u dont even notice its running & it detects better then nav

Get rid of this Symantec AV Control for Exchange crap... You want to use programs that work and not screw your system to hell.
