Hi everyone... I'm interested in slipstreaming.

I have a full original OEM copy of Windows XP Professional that includes Service Pack 1a already (looks like already have been slipstreamed by Microsoft), is it still possible to slipstreamed this CD with the Service Packs 2?

Thanks, your answer will be higly appreciated!

Hi,

I've just been trying this on a Volume License edition copy of XP SP1a we have at work. I try to slipstream SP2-ENU and get the error:

Integrated install failed. The language type or platform for the destination directory and Service Pack 2 must be the same.

Both the XP CD and the update are English, and I've removed the Read Only attributes from the CD files once copied to hard disk.

Anyone got any idea why I can't slipstream it?

Thanks,

Patters

Ok so I'm trying to do a slipstreamed install and I'm getting the same error msg about "integrated install failed"

What the heck is wrong? I have tried through the command prompt and nlite with sp1a and sp2...
