crashes in microsoft xp

i have experienced all kind of crashes in my dell windows xp computer, system, programs, and also memory leak, which i don't know exactly what it might be and if it has anything to do with crashing. can i get some ideas of what it causing this?

i don't know what kind of information will help but what i can say is that i get these messages from the anticrash program i have installed and it catches the crash before it totally happens, but i wonder if the problem might be a game program i have tho it says it's compatible with windows xp, the program is chessmaster 9000, and sometimes it just locks up and says it has encounter difficulty and has to close. anything other info needed?
