rojanu Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 Alright here we go I am trying to install NSW 2004 and I could not get the switch to override REBOOT'ing after installation. I have used/qn/qb/qn /REBOOT=Suppress/qb /REBOOT=Suppress/qn /REBOOT=Supress/qb /REBOOT=Supress/qn /REBOOT=ReallySuppress/qb /REBOOT=ReallySuppress/qn /REBOOT=Suppress/qb /REBOOT=Suppress/qn /reboot=REBOOT=Suppress/qb /reboot=REBOOT=Suppress
1chaoticadult Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 They are all wrong. The correct syntax would be /qn REBOOT=Suppress or /qb REBOOT=Suppress
mazin Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 They are all wrong. The correct syntax would be /qn REBOOT=Suppress or /qb REBOOT=SuppressYes!I don't know where people bring that slash from. Here's the official article for the Reboot property.
rojanu Posted August 21, 2004 Author Posted August 21, 2004 Ooops! It's my mistake, when I Quoted I put slashes there by mistake they should not be there!!!I actually Copied the code from mazin's code which was on http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=18412Hopefully this will make my situtaion clearer!!!!Thank You All
rojanu Posted August 22, 2004 Author Posted August 22, 2004 Sorry mazinBut still my machine reboots, I don't know what is wrong with it???
1chaoticadult Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 aliustek maybe the developer disabled it in the setup program. try REBOOT=ReallySuppress and let me know what happens then. If it still reboots then maybe they disabled or something.
mazin Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 REBOOT=ReallySuppressYeah...this is what was used there on that thread. It should work.
rojanu Posted August 24, 2004 Author Posted August 24, 2004 Unfortunately that one did not work either???!!!
