Hi guys , i found this site and downloaded the dll file .... i tried to edit it and replace the Jenifar LO bmp by using Resource Hacker but i got an error msg .

I am sure i edited my bmp to be in the same size as the source ( JL bmp ) .

does any one have an idea what that error might be ?

You need to decrease the color depth. When you saved the edited pic with your software it probally converted it to a higher value. Use the free app called IrfanView to switch between differnt color values for editing and importing. You want a higher value when importing them into Photoshop so all plugins are available. Once the pic is ready to import into the dll, open it with Irfanview and decrease the color by selecting:

View-> Decrease color depth->256 Colors (8BPP)

Now the error wont show.

mmm actually i didn't translate it in the first place cuz i got little how shall i say, "trouble"

but well, i'll give it a shot :

i actually asked which graphic program he used to edit the BMP after he taked it

out of the winntbbu.dll, and he answered an answer to the question : "which program did u use to edit the winntbbu.dll?"

and that's a question i never asked him
