How Do I Resize Additional Screens?

Recommended Posts

This is a little hard to explain.

When I click on a link in Internet Explorer or a shortcut Explorer icon on my desktop.

It comes up as a small 1" square screen.

I want them to come up as full screens.

Where do I find this option?

Thanks

to the best of my knowledge, you can't open a second window to "full size".

what i do is,

when the second one opens, drag it to nearly full size,

and then close.

the next time you open a second window,it should be the size you left it at.

Harry got it right. Aaron that only works whenever you open IE initially, succeeding browser windows are no longer maximized.

Thanks,I opened the IE properties and did the max. thing.

I get a 1/4 window now.

That is what I got before I reinstalled my OS>

I guess you dont get a full screen window.

Thanks again,

Brad

I think Harrytb has it right - I have always followed the practice of a 'nearly' maximized window then close. All additional IE windows after that will be 'nearly maximized. An alternative is to use one of the many IE overlay browsers with a tabbed interface. Here is a

pretty good selection:

I have gotten really spoiled by the TAB features laid on top of the IE engine. No slowdown or performance hit as far as I can tell......
