on making an unattended WinXP SP2 CD, should i still install a separate MS JavaVM 3810 that's discussed on this site or is it already part of XPSP2? thanks.


Just stick with the Sun Java VM. It's far more up to date, more stable, and more secure.

Some apps still need MSjavaVM tho'...

(install still works btw)

Please don't use the MS JVM. It is a complete piece of crap. I can't believe it's still floating around and people are still using it. As a Jave developer it pains me. :)

I would tell that to them, personally. It's pretty irresponsible programming to have a program that only works with an outdated virtual machine.
