JD_oscar
I had a user bring back a windows 95 laptop that she had put a boot password on. She doesn't remember the password and of course needs files off, so a reformat is out of the question for now. I seem to remember there being a way around this, but I can't remember the how. Any ideas? Thanks.
RichTJ99
Are you talking about the bios or when getting into win95?
gamehead200
Open up the laptop and remove the battery on the motherboard... Leave it out for a few days and then put it back in... It will clear the CMOS...

IcemanND
If you are refering to a power on password use GH's suggestion if you are referring to the windows logon password click CANCEL.
