wyattXP Posted August 11, 2004 Share Posted August 11, 2004 i have been installing SP2 since the it came out and the strange thing is that the build number on the desktop is Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158 (Service Pack 2), the thing that is throwing me off is the 2158, i thought that it was suppose to be around 2180?? I downloaded SP2 directly from Microsoft so I definately have the final; must be an oversight on their part or that number is referring to something else. Got me... The 2158 is not the build number as stated previously.040803-2158 translates into the following:04 = 2004, 08 = August, 03 = the 3rd day, and 2158 = 9:58pm.Thus RTM build was made on August 3, 2004 at 9:58pm.
