jsposato
Anyone else getting an application error when update.exe runs to do the slipstream? I get it whether through XPCREATE or if I try to slipstream manually. For now, I am just forgetting about SP2. Just wondering if anyone else ran into this. Wraith
Just copy off all the files from your original XP cd, integrate SP2 manually to that directory, and set that directory as the XPSOURCE within the XPCREATE ini.Works perfectly for me... GreenMachine
I think, Wriath, that he meant that even that wasn't working, I think, but could be mistaken. In fact I remember once in the begining of SP2 betas getting something like that, and for that reason I simply downloaded the complete XO ISOs for testing. If there is such an error, I would certainly think the fault to be in your current installation, as SP2 seems to be working fine for everyone else. Try on a "claen" installation, or at least another box, if you can. You could also try in the Windows XP forum: there are many more SP2 slippers over there. One way or another, you'll probably end up on SP2 before too long ...
