Hello,

When I try to run SP2 I get the following error:

Service pack 2 setup cannot update a checked (debug) system with a free (retail) version of service pack 2, or vice versa

And it exits. Does any one know what that means?

Sounds like you downloaded the wrong sp2. There is a version that MS released that has debug info and other such on it that isn't compatable with any other version of sp2 so installing it will cause errors or not even work at all.

How big is your sp2 install file? Should be exactly 266.1 mb or less (depending on what language).

If so, that's the wrong one for you.

I renamed it after I downloaded it so I'm not sure. But ths Download link on that page was pink when went to it so, maybe.

I looked around MS's website and found 270MB download. When it started, the download manager in Mozilla showed that did downlaod the Debug. Brilliant.
