Tarun
5. Images in signatures are limited to 300x100 and 80kb. Members with slow connection can disable other members signatures when reading posts by going to: My Control - Options - Board Settings. Also, flash sigs are not permitted. Avatars are to be a maximum of 100x100 pixels. You can enter max 4 lines of text in signature or signature image and limited to 1 line of text above or below the image. If your avatar or signature goes above these guidelines they will be taken off and the member contacted via PM. Any signatures found to be attached to a thread and used as a signature host is not allowed on MSFN and will be removed.I'm wondering if I could use the AAOTracker signature?Reason I ask is:Size of your Background Image ?Here you can set the size of your signature-image. Count as Pixels ! Note: Allowed max 600 x 60I can see how that would cause a conflict with the forums rules here; but if the image choice is transparent, would it matter?I use the transparent background image to this is what really had me thinking here.(Oops, just noticed I put this in the wrong place. My apologies. *Looks for delete*)Edit: Thread got moved, thanks! Edited August 8, 2004 by Tarun
Tarun
Enclosing an example, perhaps this will clarify and get an answer. Hoping these will work; if not perhaps a solution can be suggested if the sig is allowed..?HTML:<a target="_blank" href="http://aaotracker.4players.de/usertracker.php?userid=215457"><img border="0" src="http://aaotracker.4players.de/trackersig.php?userid=215457"></a>BB-Code version will not work, error returned:THE FOLLOWING ERROR(S) WERE FOUNDSorry, dynamic pages in the tags are not allowed
zprog
Are you looking to use a dynamic signature with a .php extension that has a harmless extension like .jpg and still be interpreted by the server as a php GD file?
gamehead200
He can still use the image by adding /index.jpg at the end of the image's URL... However, it is too big.
Tarun
Actually, it's a preset signature from www.aaotracker.comNote: The image I use is transparent so that makes me wonder if size matters.
Tarun
Here's an example taken from the www.aaotracker.com site.Note that the background image is transparent, and what you're seeing behind it is the forum colors of their boards. The text within always changes, but that's what it would look like. If you wish you can apply their background color to it as you see the sig below.Code for BB Sig is below.[url=http://aaotracker.4players.de/usertracker.php?userid=215457][img=http://aaotracker.4players.de/trackersig.php?userid=215457][/url]
gamehead200
I'll talk to the admins about it and let you know.
Tarun
Thanks Gamehead200. I do appreciate it. Although the dilemma at hand that I can see is if neither BBCode or HTML versions will work, then it's almost pointless?
