Security button lost?

hi , i installed my windows about 1 month ago but i didnt need any security permissions till today that i wanted to join my pc to my domain but i noticed that the security tab in the file,folders properties are gone i never had this problem.

anyone knows how can i enable the security tab on windows xp?

Open Windows Explorer (just view My Computer, or something).

Tools >> Folder Options >> View >> (uncheck) Use simple file-sharing

Additionally, if you want to perform this via the registry (nice for your unattended installs ), the registry key is as follows:

I believe the title of this topic is "Security tab lost?".

I had to control my funny-bone for some time after seeing "which bottom was lost?" Maybe it was meant to be "Security Button" but ended up being "Bottom".
