Adiel Posted August 6, 2004 Share Posted August 6, 2004 when i got an application with install shield like deamon tools, i nned to start the setup like this -c:\dtools\setup.exe -Rthen after the installation done, a file named setup.iss will be created in c:\windows directory? and then i need to extract this file to some folder and in the batch_file i need 2 launch the msi file??tnx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

rootfixxxer Posted August 6, 2004 Share Posted August 6, 2004 first if u have only one file u have to extract to some folder....if u have some files then u don't need to do nothing....just install with the Setup.exe -Rafter the install is complete just go to the WIn folder and u 'll find a file likesetup.iss just copy or cut to your directory of installation.to run silent now just do setup.exe -sand it's done Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
