Wai_Wai Posted August 5, 2004 Posted August 5, 2004 Can't play games in Win XP proWhen I start Age of Kings (the original one), it just goes wrong and won't start. I'm using Wins XP pro now. When I used Win 98, I never encountered this problem. When I start Age of Kings: The Conqueror, I can start it but I can't play long. After playing for 10-20mins, the program stops and I will be out of the screen and return to Window Desktop file. Even worse, the following STOP code will occur:PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREASTOP: 0x00000050(0xEC4B4A54, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)MEMORY_MANAGEMENTSTOP: 0x0000001A(0x00003451, 0xC03B3C50, 0x85494D8, 0x00000000)About Rainbow Six 2:Rogue Spear, it couldn't show any graph when I start the mission. I couldn't see anything except some strange lines.I haven't got any patch of any games yet.Info about my comp===================OS: Win XP ProCPU: AMD Althon 2500+ (newly purchased)Mobo: Asus A7N8X-VM/400Display Card: (mobo built-in) Geforce4 MX GPUSound Card: (mobo built-in) Realtek ALC650 6-channel audio CODECLAN1: (mobo built-in) Realtek 8201BL 10/100Mbps LAN PHYLAN2: Buffalo LCI5-TXIMonitor: CRT ViewSonic GS771RAM: KingMax DDR 512*2 (dual channel) (newly purchased)HDD:- Western Digital WD1600JB - 160GB 8MB cache ATA100 (newly purchased)- Maxtor 2B020H1 - 20GB 2MB Cache ATA100CD-RW: Ricoh MP7083ANB:Hardware- no "!, X, ?" in the device managerDriver- In Win update, I updated NVIDIA Win 2000/XP Display driver, and NVIDIA Win 2000/XP nForce driver.- I installed all required drivers from the manufacturer CDs.
