STOP code

The computer is in operation for quite a time.

I constantly encounter the following STOP codes:

1st time

Auto reboot (I got no chance to view STOP message)

2nd time

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

[i hadn't writen down the code no.]

3rd time

MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

STOP: 0x0000001A

(0x00003451, 0xC03B3C50, 0x85494D8, 0x00000000)

- At that time, I was playing Age of Empires II: The Conqueror (not on the Internet, single play only)

4th time

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

STOP: 0x00000050

(0xEC4B4A54, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

- At that time, I was playing Age of Empires II: The Conqueror (not on the Internet, single play only)

There is one system-error log in the "eventvwr"

STOP: 00000050,parameter1 f7564d43,parameter2 00000001,parameter3 8052fbfb,parameter4 00000000。

NB:

Run Win system compatibility check

- I inserted Win XP Pro CD, click "check system compatibility". Nothing was wrong.

- I run RAM test by docmem2-1b (http://www.docmemory.com). 2 loop was run. All testes passed.

- I get some major programs running all the time / in the backgroun:

Norton AntiVirus 2002

Norton Internet Security 2004

Ahead Nero In-CD

NB:

Hardware

- no "!, X, ?" in the device manager

Driver

- In Win update, I updated NVIDIA Win 2000/XP Display driver, and NVIDIA Win 2000/XP nForce driver.

- I installed all required drivers from the manufacturer CDs.

Unfortunatly when I encounter these errors in clients PC I tend to find they have faulty memory moduals, if you have more than one stick of RAM in your PC, try removing one at a time and see if the error goes away.

usually if its not memory OR pagefile its a bad program that has memory leaks

ive encountered this problem with firefox 0.8 .. just on a side not 0.9.3 was released, try upgrading 2 that if u havent

just try not using any programs u usually do that may be the problem..

also.. dont use microsoft drivers.. use manufacturer's drivers.. in your case NVIDIA
