XtremeMaC Posted August 5, 2004 Share Posted August 5, 2004 they don't get erased they are just hidden from the list there is a limit on the invision power boards which the admin can set.its usefull for bandwidth I suppose.. but if u search for a topic it'll come up.... XtremeMaC Posted August 6, 2004 Share Posted August 6, 2004 well the board has a built-in function that's "Default date cut off for topic display"go to admin centergo to forum control go to manage forumsgo to settings of any forum look for"Default date cut off for topic display"well in other words every forum has its cut-off date. which u can alter.look at the bottom of the page and findshowing * of * topics sorted by * in * from * [go]after the "from" change the drop list to "the beginning" and u'll see all the previous topicsthis is what I meant..
