I think this is the driver you are looking for it's called GLSYWin98.exe.Says that this driver is for the Elsa Gloria Synergy a8 vivo.............Drivers

You have to join for free and use their search engine not the message board,I already tried that.

You are right though "General Discussions"would have been better.

dont worry i think this section best suits what you needed help for aswell ,i consider general disscuision to be a section for general chit chat and gossip rather than help.

Good call Elite, obviously I'm still learning about the boards.

This thread has been flying all over the place. :)

I've placed this in the Windows 9x/ME/2k/NT section.

It doesn't need to be in XP Support > Hardware. Its a windows 98 issue.

The latest 40's for win98 are supposed to be universal for a Nvidia Based cards...It works on my TNT2 M64agp and also my Vanta 16mb pci video cards just fine...It also runs my GF 256 and my GF2 MX400 as well as my GF4 TI 4600 just fine...Or you may try the OMEGA drivers...which will run both ATI as well as NVidia cards....They run both good but not the fastest...Have had it running on my ATI and NVidia...it runs both good but not fast...Good Picture though...better DVD playback on both...
