Sir Zerp Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 I haven't had time to read all 85 pages of posts.Mainly, I would like to modify xpcreate to leave out the microsoft baseline security analyzer and windows journal viewer.Any quick ways to do so?
Alanoll Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 run it once, let it do it's thing. Then open XPCREATE.INI and change DLAUTO=YES to NO, and then delete away, and run it again.
Vel Straty Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 Or you can use your own download list locally and delete or comment out the line where it writes about the Baseline utility. Then run XPCREATE.
Sir Zerp Posted July 29, 2004 Author Posted July 29, 2004 Or you can use your own download list locally and delete or comment out the line where it writes about the Baseline utility. Then run XPCREATE.That sounds great! I guess I could use a pause command in the script after the list downloads and then edit it.Any pointers? Do I have the right idea here, or is there a easier way to do it?
GreenMachine Posted August 7, 2004 Posted August 7, 2004 For now, you'll just have to grab a copy of the HFLISTS.TXT file while it is working. From there, you can figure out how to edit it, and read in some of the other posts how to set it up for local use. Or simply set DLAUTO=NO in XPCREATE, and hand select the files you want to add.
