I've been searching here but cannot find how to put icons of my choice in the quick launch toolbar. Anyone? Thanks

Start > Run > C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name Here\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

Thanks, got it working. I guess you're only allowed 6 icons visible.

BTW...how do you backslash?

I guess you're only allowed 6 icons visible.

If you right click on the Taskbar -> "Lock the Taskbar"

Toggle it off and you can move the divider between the "Quick Launch" section and "Running Tasks" so you can see > 6 icons.

Toggle it back on to lock your selection and get rid of the dividers.

Edit: you can also right click in the "Quick Launch" area and "Open Folder" to add stuff withouth having to browse through Explorer.

I wasn't aware there was a 6 icon limit, but you can always create a folder in an elsewhere location, such as C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name Here\Quick Launch Folders\ and create new folders like "Graphics", "Internet Applications", then place the shortcuts in there.

Now, right click your taskbar > Toolbars > New Toolbar > and choose a folder you created, repeat the step for the other folders as well.

Theres no 6 limit, just click and drag the shortcut of your program you want to show.

Or Unlock your taskbar and drag away to fit all the icons in...
