July 22, 200422 yr nopethere is not enough BIOS support for USB for that yet.You either boot from it or you use a DOS disk with USB drivers oryou use WinPENone os which will get you in at textmode
July 23, 200422 yr hmm.. it might actually be posible.. my external firewaire hd is seen in text mode setup.. it i will even let me try to install to it.. maybe thats too different though.. i am not a fan of usb storage.
July 23, 200422 yr I have an external 80GB USB 2.0 harddrive and it is seen by text mode setup. My 256MB stick is not seen. Maybe text mode setup only shows drives big enough to install windows on.
July 23, 200422 yr I think it has to do with this: some usb sticks are bootable, some of them are not. I'm afraid yours isn't...
