got ot perfecly working.. use the iunstyallshield method described in the msfn unattended win xp guide.. that will do the trick..

This works great for me:

"start /wait %systemdrive%\install\Applications\PM800\\setup.exe -s"

Be sure to have your setup.iss file in the same folder as your setup.exe. If you don't have the iss file, run setup.exe -R, then do a search and copy the file to the installation folder. This should work.

just 2 note..

the setup file attemps 2 make a log file in the same directory, if u run this from cd it wont work unless u add the f1 switch with a path 2 where u want it 2 output a log file

im using this one:

setup.exe /S /v/qn

and the .iss file

im using this one:

setup.exe /S /v/qn

and the .iss file

Yeah whats your full syntax Ive trried every combination on this forum & more & cannot get this to install or not?

Still no luck? I watch my batch execute & appears to install PM* however once VPC reboots shows all other programs but fails to install PM8. My setup.iss file was a little different to the posted one by Spachter I used that one with my reg details but still to no avail heres my bat to call pm8

Any ideas fellas this ones really s***ting me off?

This iss file did the trick for me, but how do I get it to Install under "Program Files" and not "Programme"? Thanks for the help.
