RBCC Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 Here goes: I know how to change the logo on a Windows 2000 Server installation, but how do I do it in a Windows XP unattended installation, I have tried [OEM_Ads]Logo = "Filename.bmp" but it doesn't seem to workm how is this done in XP?John
prathapml Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 What do you mean by logo? Are you talking about the OEMlogo that you see in System Properties?Or the "Windows XP" logo at the top-left-hand side of the setup screens? Or the logo that you see in the post-install OOBE welcome? If you are referring to these, then each of the above can be customized - search the forums with the terms given above.BTW, the entire [OEM_Ads] section of winnt.sif has been deprecated in XP's unattended settings.
MCT Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 u talkin about this? OEMINFO.inihttp://unattended.msfn.org/xp/oeminfo.htmor r u talkin about the setup screen? in that case u use winntbbu.dll for pro & winntbba.dll for home i think but winntbbu does work for pro, thats what i use regards
