When the installtion gets to about 13mins a window pops up asking where to extract files:

C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv

The install stops until ok is clicked.

Can anyone help?

hi,

why do you want to install the Worm-removal tools in svcpack.inf? Leave them out and it'll work.

Please use svcpack.inf mainly for hotfixes - the removal-tools can't be used before an infection, so patch your windows and they can't infect you.

hope this helps a bit

edit: i'll attach my svcpack-instance of XPlode - there can you see whick updates you can install fom svcpack.inf...

These are not the removal tools, they are the patches. I've just renamed them.

But anyway do you think these hotfixes are the cause of my problem ?

i known there is ONE hotfixes which you must exclude from install because it give a error. i have to search which one that was.... brb

edit: this one it is Q817787.exe

remove that line and take a look if the problems dissappears AND let me known if it works.....

its qchain.exe...you renamed the "hotfix" file instead of extracting qchain.exe...open qchain.exe in winrar and extract qchain.exe and replace your current one with the extracted one. You really shouldnt rename files...it makes it a whole lot harder to troubleshoot when they arent named what they are supposed to be
