GeneralMandible Posted July 12, 2004 Share Posted July 12, 2004 Right click on Network Neighborhood on the desktop and choose propertiesRight click on LAN connection and shoose propertiesSelect Internet Protocol and click propertiesYou can configure IP settings there and adjust more settings by going into the advanced options.This should do it for you. MadGutts Posted July 12, 2004 Share Posted July 12, 2004 Or you can go into the control panel,double click "network and dial-up connections"right click "Local Area Connection" and click "Properties"then double click "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)"then type in the IP address for the pc, the subnet and the gateway. And if you know them, the dns settings.Once those settings are in, you can then browse the network...AND ! the cool thing with 2k s you dont need to restart to change the IP address !
