BUSHDOG Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 Hello! I create an unattended install CD using the cdimage file to create the bootable XP CD. The only problem I have with this method is, I would like to be able to repair an install if I should have a problem. I know this is possible with the original CD. How might I do this with an unattended install?Capitalisations removed from post and title - Aaron
MCT Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 i know this isnt what your asking.. but why not try something like BartPE and make a PE disk ?ps: u might be better off looking in the unattended forum, maybe a mod can move your post, since this is more of an unattended issueregards
prathapml Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 Make a multi-bootable (optimized) CD which has the original contents - you can have access to the "repair" function from original CD.Search if you don't know how to do the above.Or see this site : http://flyakite.msfnhosting.com/

Alanoll Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 please do a search. There is a line in winnt.sif that disables the Repair option. You may want to do an "multiboot" but not a true multiboot. Just one with two boot folders, one with winnt.sif one without so you get the repair option.
MAVERICKS CHOICE Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 Search the members sites Gosh has an excellent guide for what your explaining.
