likuidkewl Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 Did you run the buildoptionalcomonents.vbs? This creates the files you need to enable HTA/ADO/WSH, then you append the line to your startnet.cmd,OC.batThat is it.

I can use my HTA files just fine but when I type this on the command prompt.d:\dir\dir\example.htaThe Usual IE download dialog box opens up telling you the file type and then you click the Open button and it works. How can I get rid of this step? Get rid of the download dialog.

mbouchard Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 What version of PE are you running? I experienced this with Version 1.2 and unfortunately have not found a way around this. Supposedly you can load a hive and make an edit there but I have not been succesful.Mike
