I guess that is what I am asking. If I put the one line d:\dir\dir\example.hta in say the startnet.cmd I still get the dialog box. Can you give an example?

Yeah I have that. I can use my HTA files just fine but when I type this on the command prompt. d:\dir\dir\example.hta The Usual IE download dialog box opens up telling you the file type and then you click the Open button and it works. How can I get rid of this step? Get rid of the download dialog.

How can I associate HTA in PE so it doesn't prompt you with the open dialog box? I will be creating our front end using HTA and would like to get rid of this step. Thanks
