hi Guyz i was realy wondering if there is a possibility through some Registry tweaking or Explorer Plugin that can show the Left side small Prview of the File as Was shown in Windows 2000 in XP or windows 2003 server .. this is the Best Feature of 2k i;ve always appreciated.. Open My Computer or Windows Explorer

Select Folder Options from the Tools menu

On the General tab, select the Enable Web content in folders radio button

Click OK

Im not talking about Windows 2000 here.. but XP & 2003 server. The above seting Does not exist n XP or 2k3.

umm actually that is correct, im running server 2003 standard and i have it turned on... just like catwalker63 said:

tools> folder options> enable web content

then you will see the file preview and everything else just like in 2000 and XP

Okay, just checked an XP box and the option is still on the General tab but it is under Tasks and it is called "Show common tasks . . .". This toggles the selection from "Use Windows classic folders".

Your information about files and folders and drives will show up in a section called Details to the left side of your folder.
