lynchknot Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 Intel® Processor Frequency ID Utility http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scr...?url=/3084/eng/ It reports both the internal speed of the processor and details, such as which "package" it was built into - original 423 pin model or newer, more capable 478 pin P4. It's a way for consumers to confirm that they have a processor running at the speed they paid for. It also gives the definitions of the packages. OOI (OLGA on Interposer) = 423 pins. FCPGA2 (Flip Chip Pin Grid Array 2) = 478-pin version. This utility is also for Celeron, Pentium III, and Xeon models.
BAH Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 There are many utils that do this CPUID gives more info than the Intel util.
