Unattended Boot Error Code 5

Recommended Posts

Hi, i've used the Microsoft Corportation.img and the XPboot.img to make my Unattended bootable and I seem to get error code 5 on some workstations. I know that I need up update the BIOS but I was wondering if there was a way around that?

:)

Does the original disk boot on those systems? Did you set the correct parameters for your boot diske.g. no emulation, the correct number of sectors and the correct address to load the boot image?

Yes, the original disk boots on those systems. Correct Parameters.. what are those supposed to be? What i've set mine to is No Emulation, ISO level 2 also tried Level 1. What is the correct number of Sectors?
