  1. Hello I'm trying to fully automate the installation of Spybot 1.5.2.20 What I currently have is: :For the program installation: Spybot Search & Destroy /VERYSILENT /SP- /components="main,skins" :After the program has been installed I run: "\"%ProgramFiles%\Spybot~1\SpybotSD.exe\" /taskbarhide /autoclose /autoupdate /autoimmunize /autofix /autocheck /VERYSILENT" There are a few problems I've run into and was hoping someone could help me with this, I can't seem to find a way to automatically check the Legal menu that pops up after I run this. I always have to click "okay" than it will continue to move on with the update and scanning. Also is there a way I can create a script that will allow me to auto fix selected problems once the scan has been completed? I do apologize if there has already been a posting for this, I had searched around but only found the switches on how to install the app. Thanks!
  2. Is there a way that I can maybe add registry keys to include exceptions into the firewall when windows starts up? Or maybe have a file to exe. after the install to add exceptions?
  3. I had a feeling that was it after reading acouple of posts off the subject. You guys are great!
  4. My unattended Install works out great but one problem that i'm running into is that the "Welcome to the Windows 2000 Setup Wizard" screen pops up and prompts me to click on "next" when I do that it will go though all the settings that I have in the winnt.sif file just fine. I just have to click on next for it to continue.. would someone know of how to disable that window so it just starts installing? Thanks, Tymque ;SetupMgrTag [Data] AutoPartition=1 MsDosInitiated=0 UnattendedInstall=Yes [unattended] Repartition=yes UnattendMode=FullUnattended OemSkipEula=Yes OemPreinstall=Yes UnattendSwitch="yes" TargetPath=\WINNT [GuiUnattended] AdminPassword=its AutoLogon=Yes AutoLogonCount=1 OEMSkipRegional=1 TimeZone=20 [userData]
  5. Yes, the original disk boots on those systems. Correct Parameters.. what are those supposed to be? What i've set mine to is No Emulation, ISO level 2 also tried Level 1. What is the correct number of Sectors?
  6. Hi, i've used the Microsoft Corportation.img and the XPboot.img to make my Unattended bootable and I seem to get error code 5 on some workstations. I know that I need up update the BIOS but I was wondering if there was a way around that?
  7. still having this problem.. can anyone give some advice?
  8. Heres how my winnt.sif file starts and the problem that i'm running into is that it will still prompt me to manually choose what to format. I was able to by pass that with my XP unattened install without any problems automatically formating the drive. Is there an extra line or something that I need in order for it to partition without prompting? ;SetupMgrTag [Data] AutoPartition=1 MsDosInitiated="0" UnattendedInstall="Yes" [unattended] FileSystem=ConvertNTFS UnattendMode=FullUnattended OemSkipEula=Yes OemPreinstall=Yes TargetPath=\WINNT [GuiUnattended] AdminPassword=its AutoLogon=Yes AutoLogonCount=1 OEMSkipRegional=1 TimeZone=20 [userData]
  9. Then I can use http://unattended.msfn.org/ setup procedure with the win2k unattended too and it should work out alright?
  10. Alright, I’ve spent a lot of time reading all kinds of topics, searching and looking for some info in regards to putting together an win2k unattended install. I'm sorry if there is already another article explaining all this and I just seemed to miss it. I've read in other articles some people having problems with people asking questions without searching then having to explain it again. So if this is true please just send me to that link/article and I’ll try to figure it out. I'm not very experienced with unattended installs and probably considered a retard when it comes to putting one together and I've found you guys VERY helpful so I just wanted to say Thanks too. I've been able to put together an XP unattended install, copy the I386 folder over and apply hot fixes and would like to do the same for win2k. Would the unattended XP setup be the same as creating a win2k unattended? The problem that I’ve been running into is the win2k will boot up fine but then it will ask for the windows 2000 professional disk in the floppy drive?? For the Win2k install is the setup file named differently like the XP = winnt.sif? Or is it install.txt or unattend.txt? Thanks for any help you guys can give me! Becky
