VmWare = haved upload

Featured Replies

This on has really got me in a vice here.

YEsterday everything was well my upload speeds were near 35kbs. After some frustrations with the new MS Virtual pc slowness, i tested out the new VMware 4.

WHen the wizard came to the network settings i set it to bridge the connections, it seemed that it was defalt and that the description would be fine.

However since that install my uploads have been terrible. Im talkin maybe 7kbs even worse sometimes.

The Vmware is the only thing i can attribute to this issue. I have other computers in the house and they work fine.

I have uninstalled Vmware but the issues persist!

Can anyone offer some guidence here?

did u check if the vmware addons on the local area network properties still exist?

maybe look into vmware forums and ask them? and report it as a bug :)

did u uninstall both the vpc and vmware? maybe they can not get a long?

I use direct instead of bridging, haven't got any problems..

maybe your isp slowed your internet? or something. I dunno,..

r u uploading in vmware or the actual windows?

if so maybe look at the settings, u know mtu blackhole detection and stuff like that, maybe vmware alters that?
