My mother board is a S478 Intel 865PE ATX A L GA-8IPE1000 PRO i have been trying to Over Clock it with EasyTune 4 but every time i press go after changing the setting it just freezes, so i have to press the restart button then it don't boot so i take out semos battery to reset the bios then it works fine but back to default does any one no a easy way to Over Clock my processor:) Thank You If u Reply
Bâshrat the Sneaky Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 I overclock in the BIOS, but that takes more time... 2.81 GHz... So this is a 533 MHz FSB model? And btw: it's 'CMOS' not 'semos'
MCT Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 also, how much will u notice 200MHz with that size of processor? i doubt u will notice it much, but i dont oc like i said above
RaidenX Posted June 5, 2004 Author Posted June 5, 2004 I need to find out to turn up the voltage or it wont work
Batx00 Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 I would recomend going to Overclockers.com and checking out both the web site and the Overclockers Forums. There is a lot of good information on that particular topic there.
