MCT Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 try a registry compare utility, like RegSnap or RegShotit will take a b4 and after snapshot of your registry, so it can be imported by a reg file

jroc Posted June 20, 2004 Posted June 20, 2004 yes there is a way..via the registry..for instance my Yamaha F1E is Drive H..I renamed if with the following registry entry[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DriveIcons\H\DefaultLabel]@="Yamaha F1E"I also did my Photosmart...Plextor and Liteon...attached is the results in MyComputer.
