Can anyone assist?Thanks,dareyah
Alanoll Posted May 31, 2004 Posted May 31, 2004 make sure you have the IDENT files in the root of your diskWin51Win51IPWin51IP.SP1README.HTMLSETUP.EXE(I typed these from memory, but you need those)
dareyah Posted June 1, 2004 Author Posted June 1, 2004 Thanks for responding guys:MCT: Yeah, I'm using the ISO image for CD-ROM and tried it for A: too.Ending up disconnecting the a: from boot up.Alanoll: I was unsuccessful at copying those first 3 files. I've tried 4 source disks but it wont let me copy. Is there away around that? Would that be my the answer to my problem? Thanks again, dareyah
dareyah Posted June 1, 2004 Author Posted June 1, 2004 Alanoll: I managed to copy those files. My current XP profile is stuffed and so has been doing alot of weird things. As soon as I created a new ISO and tested it in VMware. It worked. Thanks again, dareyah
Alanoll Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 hate to dissappoint you.....all you really needed to do was create a EMPTY text file with those names....and setup doesn't care. That's all those files are anyways. lol.I'm serious, open them up, they're blank 0kb files.
dareyah Posted June 2, 2004 Author Posted June 2, 2004 I trust you. I really need to get this DVD working. My profile has got to the point where notepad has an error loading. Under a different profile, it works a treat :/I'm having a few other problems now with my unattended installation that you might beable to help me with. I'll create a new thread for them : )
