Hi,

I'm testing my image under VMware and am getting stuck with:

===================================================

Please insert the disk labled

Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1 CD

Into Drive A:

* Press ENTER when ready."

===================================================

I believe I've done everything right. Can anyone assist?

Thanks,

dareyah

Thanks for responding guys:

MCT: Yeah, I'm using the ISO image for CD-ROM and tried it for A: too.

Ending up disconnecting the a: from boot up.

Alanoll: I was unsuccessful at copying those first 3 files. I've tried 4 source disks but it wont let me copy. Is there away around that?

Would that be my the answer to my problem?

Thanks again,

dareyah

Alanoll: I managed to copy those files. My current XP profile is stuffed and so has been doing alot of weird things. As soon as I created a new ISO and tested it in VMware. It worked.

Thanks again,

hate to dissappoint you.....

all you really needed to do was create a EMPTY text file with those names....and setup doesn't care. That's all those files are anyways. lol.

I'm serious, open them up, they're blank 0kb files.

I trust you.

I really need to get this DVD working. My profile has got to the point where notepad has an error loading. Under a different profile, it works a treat :/

I'm having a few other problems now with my unattended installation that you might beable to help me with. I'll create a new thread for them : )
