Open up your boot.ini file (root of Master hard drive) and add this line to the entry of the OS you want to remove the bootscreen from

/NOGUIBOOT

so it'll look something like this:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /fastdetect /NOGUIBOOT

There's nothing else to do other than replacing the boot screen with a colored one- I mean you can't skip the boot screen or anything, it's loading stuff during that time.
