KrzysieQ Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Sorry for question but how to make sillent mode installator ?
MHz Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 FFdShow is a Nullsoft installer. Use a capital S.setup.exe /S
Bib Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 The new version don´t work with /S.Any ideas, how to install the new ffdshow-Version silently? I tested 20070529.
Shark007 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 It is no longer Nullsoft, it is Inno Setup, use:/silentshark
MHz Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Probably Inno Setup as latest I have of that date.Try these switches/Sp- /NoRestart /VerySilent /SuppressMsgBoxesThe /VerySilent is the important switch and the others are in case of optional events set by the installation developer which I use for all Inno Setup installations.
ajua Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 and to export your settings just open the configuration of ffdshow and click on export settings.
RaGhul Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I put FFDShow on nearly all of my xp CD's.Get the latest version here:FFDShow TryoutsThe original FFDShow was abondoned nearly 3 yrs ago, but these guys restarted the project with more current codecs. You can use the nightly builds if you like. I've never had a problem with them. But if you want to 'play it safe', I suggest you use the Official Beta 2.Here are the switches:/VERYSILENT /SP-
ZileXa Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 (edited) uhm yes but if you go to that site it can be difficult to see wich one to download. The latest STABLE and recommended version of that Tryouts site, can be found here: www.x264.nl Edited June 5, 2007 by ZileXa
RaGhul Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 (edited) I usually just download the latest nightly build. So far (knock on wood), haven't had a problem. I thought the Official Beta 2 would be the most stable release. The one at x264 is dated June 3rd. Today is the 8th.I'll assume you know what you're talking about, ZileXa, since you're old school at MSFN (no offense intended). But I'm just wondering, how do you know that's the newest stable release?? Edited June 8, 2007 by RaGhul
