ceez
zup fellow msn'ers....We are using ghostcast server in our office to ghost a few of our machines. the problem is that almost every other one has a different nic. we need to create a boot disk for every pc that has a particular card. Is there a way that I can make a bootable CD-R or RW in which I can burn all the nic drivers that come with ghost and also able to burn additional ones later on? That way we dont have a stack of 50 floppies all over the place...bummer.thkz
Datalore
I think Bart's Network Bootdisk may do the trick. There are over 100+ network card drivers that you can add, plus there's instructions to make your own. Oh crap I just reread- you want the NIC drivers that come with Ghost... sorry don't know about that one, but maybe the above info will help. Highspeedmac
Possible Other Solution:http://members.iinet.net.au/~bdriver/bootdisk/As of right now there seems to be no Info On the site telling youhow to Add your Own Nic Drivers, But the Site Owner will addthe Driver for you If you Email them to him.I sent him my Ghost Driver, And he did Add it for me At the time.Hope that helps.Or One more Possible Solution:Use a Software Like WinImage To Make Images Of Each FloppyDisk For Each PC.Then Use Some Type Of Cd Menu Software Like Maybe EasyBoot. To make yourself a CD that will have a Menu for selecting WhichDisk Image to Run on Which PC At Bootup.Hope These Suggestion Are Useful.
